Amerindian Epistemologies: Indigenizing thought through Terena scientific production
This project investigates the production of scientific knowledge by the Terena in the Gleba Iriri Novo Indigenous Land, exploring the journeys they make between villages and universities. The research seeks to understand how these dialogues influence the communities involved, using a literature review and field research in the Turipuku Terena village. It highlights the interaction between Terena researchers and their territories as a crucial element in scientific production, proposing an approach that values practice as an epistemological tool in the transformation of non-Western scientific practice.
