Migration, construction of place and territoriality from the Kukama perspective. A cross-border study Peru-Colombia-Brazil

The research will bring together the perspectives of the Kukama (Tupi-Guarani) people on their link to the places they inhabit in three different Amazonian countries and in the area of the triple border Peru-Colombia-Brazil. It is contextualized in a political process of reunion of the Kukama of the three countries, led by indigenous activist organizations. It seeks to offer a general idea of the “Kukama world” in the Amazon, shaped both by links between specific places and by a general idea of nation in conflict with state ideologies.
